Common Questions
How can I become a Christian?
The message at the heart of Christianity is really quite simple–simple enough to be outlined in a few pages. It is a message from the Bible about God and His Son, Jesus. It is about life and death, and the choice that we all face. And it all starts with a loving creator God… Click here for the rest
What can I expect at First Baptist?
We never want to give the impression that we are perfect and without problems. Like everyone else, we get angry and upset, we have our desires and preferences, we laugh and cry, and we have our hopes and dreams. With all this being true, we know that Jesus is the answer to all of our problems and is the source of all our joy. We are people who have been forgiven of our sins. We desire others to be forgiven as well and live their lives for the glory of Jesus Christ

Most people, however, want people to think well of them and at the very least treat them with kindness and respect. As part of His last moments of instruction to His disciples, JesusContinue reading “Good News and Bad News (John 15:9-16:4)”
